Do You Have Hope in Christ?
$6.00
Hope is a term that many use to describe their belief in a possibility coming to pass. For example, “I hope my team wins the Super Bowl,” or “I hope I get an A on that test.” Most of the time our “hope” will return void, and nothing will change.
But we can all have the certain hope of joy in the Lord Jesus Christ. Who would not want to have this great hope and joy?
1 Th 1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father.
From this verse we can see that Christ is where our hope is found. Does everyone acknowledge this and have this great hope? Unfortunately, no.
1 Tim 2:3-4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
This verse clearly states that God desires that everyone will be saved and have hope in him. The reason some are not saved is because God gave us free will to choose. To gain access to this hope, you must first realize that you are a sinner and need a savior.
We all have sinned and deserveto go to hell.
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
We cannot please God based on works.
Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
1 Cor 15:3b-4 how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
The only thing one must do to get into Heaven and joyfully live there eternally is to trust that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day.
1 Cor 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
The verse above tells us that we can never lose our salvation by sinning. This truth allows us to live freely and have a joyful hope in the future we will have with Christ.
2 Cor 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
